Adam Lambert and others weigh in on Madonna's BRITs fall: 'She's a true professional'

Last night saw the 2015 BRIT Awards take place in London and the Queen of Pop ended up making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

She closed the ceremony with a rendition of her single 'Living For Love', but took quite the tumble as she was climbing stairs onto the main stage. She later blamed the cape she was wearing for pulling her down and the incident saw many other music stars praise her professionalism and ability to take things in her stride.

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert took to his official Twitter and applauded her for getting back up and continuing with the performance: "Great performance @Madonna! You are a true professional and a legend. "Watched me Stumble...I'm gonna carry on!" #livingforlove."

Singer Gareth Gates tweeted: "OMG... The Madonna Fall..... Love should have lifted her up!"

Liza Minnelli posted a message on her Facebook page, which read: "Somebody told me that my friend Madonna fell while performing but she is incapable of doing such a thing. You couldn't keep Madonna down if you tried."

One of Taylor Swift's backing dancers, named Glenn Ball, from her performance at the BRITs last night told Attitude magazine he thought it was odd that her own dance team didn't help her out: "It's funny you mention the dancers’ reaction because I have watched it a couple of times since and find that bit very odd that they didn’t grab her and help her up. Maybe because it was planned? Controversial. Everyone is talking about it though so planned or not planned it worked!"
