Adam Lambert sheds light on his forthcoming new album's sound

'Trespassing' superstar Adam Lambert is currently finishing up his third record, which is called 'The Original High', and confessed that he has really been experimenting with sound on this offering.

During an interview with Digital Spy at last night's (February 25) BRIT Awards ceremony, which took place in London at the O2 Arena, the sensation confessed that he has a true mix of genres and styles on his upcoming new album:

"Yeah, I have a new album coming out this summer called 'The Original High'. It was produced by Max Martin and Shellback... It's definitely pop, but there's some house on there and some R&B flavours, and I co-wrote the whole thing with them so I'm really excited."

The first single from his new album is due to be released in April although no further details about the song have been unveiled as of yet.
