Adam Lambert on 'The Original High': 'It's a new sound and a brand new energy'

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert is currently putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated new studio album and spoke to Sunrise in Australia this morning about the project.

The 'Whataya Want For Me' sensation teased that the sound is more experimental and he also admitted that the record has an undeniable energy that he's really excited about:

"I'm so excited. I created this record with Max Martin and Shellback as the two executive producers - we've been working on it for over a year. I was actually in Stockholm for 2 months last year to begin it and finished it here in L.A. It's kind of a new sound and a new energy, and I'm excited for people to hear it."

"My first single will be coming out in a few weeks... I can't give you a full unveiling yet, but as soon as I can I'll be down under to promote this new album. I think people are really going to love what they hear."
