Adam Lambert reveals the greatest lesson he learned from touring and performing with Queen

Superstar Adam Lambert has opened up about touring the globe with iconic rock band Queen and confessed that the past couple of years with them have been 'surreal'.

Speaking to Sunrise in Australia today, the hitmaker explained that they developed a close bond and had an amazing time performing the band's songs together:

"There are moments where it feels surreal, but we've been doing this now for a couple of years so it's definitely kind of meshed and found... it sits in a familiar place now, which is great. We get along really well; we're like a family."

He went onto add that one of the most valuable lessons he learned while on the road with the 'We Will Rock You' legends is that it's so important to enjoy what you're being given the opportunity to do:

"I think what I learned from their example of not taking it too seriously - being thankful for the opportunity to get to create and entertain people. That trumps any sort of ego or money or anything like that. They really take joy in the fact that they get to still be on stage."
