Adam Lambert on coming out 5 years ago: 'I was flying blind'

Superstar Adam Lambert has revealed that coming out was a tough thing for him to do because there wasn't as much of a public conversation going on about sexuality as there is now.

During his new interview with Notion magazine, the 'Trespassing' sensation opened up about his sexuality and confessed that even five years ago when he came out things were very different to how they are today so it was a stressful experience for him:

"I came out five years ago in a scene where I didn't have a lot of people to look to or a blueprint for advice,. I was flying blind. At that time, I was reading things that were being written about me and it was affecting me both negatively and positively. It was really intense to get dropped into that whole world really quickly."

Lambert, meanwhile, is gearing up to release his highly anticipated new single 'Ghost Town' next week (April 21) and the song has already earned a lot of high praise from reputable media outlets. He has revealed a few teasers for the cut and they can be seen below.
