Adam Lambert's 'The Original High' is gaining steam on the US iTunes chart.

The album went on pre-order today (April 21) alongside the debut of lead single 'Ghost Town'.

At the time of writing, the record - Lambert's third - is sitting at No.17 on the main US iTunes list.

The song 'Ghost Town' meanwhile is No.39 on the US iTunes pop songs chart.

The album 'The Original High' is set to be released from June 12.

It will feature cameos from Queen guitarist Brian May and Tove Lo.

Lambert's previous record 'Trespassing' was unleashed in 2012.
