Adam Lambert confirmed for appearance on 'The Ellen Show'

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert is due to make an appearance on 'The Ellen Show' later this month.

Earlier today (April 21), music and entertainment news site Idolator confirmed that the superstar has been booked onto the programme for April 30. At the time of writing, DeGeneres' April schedule has not yet been displayed on her site for shows that will take place from April 28 until May 1.

Idolator explains: "Lambert will be making an appearance (and, we’re guessing, performing) on 'The Ellen Show' on April 30." Darren Hayes, of Savage Garden fame, tweeted about his excitement over Lambert's new single and said: "I’m not. But if I were making a record, I reckon I’d want it to sound like this. Amazing job @adamlambert."

His new single, 'Ghost Town', was released earlier today and the track hit the No.17 position on the U.S. iTunes charts this afternoon.
