Adam Lambert on 'Ghost Town' lyrics: 'They're vague as I wanted people to connect'

Vocal sensation Adam Lambert stopped by the On Air with Ryan offices earlier today (April 22) and opened up about the lyrics to his brand new single, 'Ghost Town'.

The superstar told Ryan Seacrest that he wanted to leave the track, which has received high praise since its release earlier this week, open to interpretation and thinks he has really achieved that:

“The lyrics of ‘Ghost Town’ were intentionally vague because I really, really want people to find their own meaning in the song. To me personally, it’s about questioning your ability to love. We all go through a lot of things in our lives. We maybe go through heartbreaks, or doubts, or hardships, and it causes us to maybe close off a little bit, or to get a little bit bitter or jaded. There are these moments where you have to ask yourself like, ‘Is it still possible? Am I going to fall in love again?'”

Yesterday, Warner Brothers' promotional Twitter account (@WarnerBrosPromo) shared the following message and explained that special behind-the-scenes pictures from the 'Ghost Town' music video's set will be posted to its Instagram page in the very near future: "Soooo many behind the scenes pix of @adamlambert coming to our Instagram!#Glamberts are you following @WarnerBrosPromo on IG?#GhostTown."
