Adam Lambert is 'so excited' and ready to share his new album

Hitmaker Adam Lambert recently dropped his brand new single 'Ghost Town', which is the first track to be taken from his upcoming new album 'The Original High', and he revealed that this is an exciting time for him.

The superstar sat down for a chat with 4 Music and opened up about this new era, explaining that he has been working on his new material for around 12 months so can't wait for his fans to hear it all:

"I'm so excited... I've been working on this music now for about a year. Anybody that does music will tell you that it's like, that moment... 'ugh, I just want people to hear it'. I've birthed 'Ghost Town'."

During a recent interview with MTV News, Lambert admitted that he was so focused throughout the promotion of his last album, 'Trespassing', that he didn't really enjoy the process so has learned not to be so hard on himself now:

"I was really hard on myself during the last process and I’m really proud of the last album I put out. I did a lot of really hard work on it and I have some amazing music on it, but I was taking it all a bit too seriously. And what was happening is that I don’t think I was enjoying myself as much, and this whole project from start to finish has just been a lot more fun for me, and I stopped over-thinking everything as much, I started to just trust myself a little bit more.”
