Adam Lambert: 'If love found me, I wouldn't run from it'

'Ghost Town' sensation Adam Lambert has revealed that he isn't really looking to date at the moment because he simply doesn't have time, but he also wouldn't turn an opportunity down if he was genuinely interested.

Speaking to MTV News about his romantic life, the vocal powerhouse admitted that while he isn't actively looking for a partner at the moment because of his hectic schedule, he would welcome love if it were to come his way:

"If love found me, I wouldn't run away from it, but I don't know. I think I'm dating my album right now. yeah, 'The Original High' is my lover."

He went onto add that his forthcoming new album is a lot more honest and authentic: "I think in the past I was playing around with more theatrical, kind of over the top, kind of kitschy, campy, type material, but on this album, I wanted to do something a little more real, a little more grounded, a little bit more honest, and kind of serious."

Lambert concluded: "It was really important for me to write about stuff that I had experienced, things that were through my point of view but at the same time, the topics on the album are things that I think everybody goes through no matter who you are."
