Adam Lambert dislikes dating apps: 'The true magic only happens in real life'

'Ghost Town' singer Adam Lambert has opened up about dating and confessed that he could never be romantically involved with someone who was 'in the closet' because it's a stressful experience.

Speaking to The Mirror newspaper, the superstar explained that he has previously dated men who weren't comfortable with being out and proud, and it took a toll on their relationship:

"Actors and entertainers can't be open about their sexuality and it's hard to live that life. It's difficult to date someone who's so worried about their reputation. I don’t think I could date anyone in the closet again."

Lambert went onto add that he doesn't like online dating or dating apps either because they're not comparable to that real-life experience of feeling when there's genuine chemistry: "I can't do dating apps. The magic happens for me when you flirt in real-life. Once I've had a few tequilas, I'm a good flirt."
