Adam Lambert's latest single has entered the UK iTunes top 40.

The singer has now released the track 'Ghost Town' in the country.

At the time of writing, the tune is placed at No.33 on the iTunes chart.

Lambert wrote on Twitter on Sunday (June 7): "UK! Ghost Town is available on iTunes at last! See you in the week!!"

His previously highest charting song in the UK was 2012's 'Never Close Our Eyes', which reached No.17.

'Ghost Town' features on the US star's upcoming album 'The Original High'.

The record, which includes cameos from Tove Lo and Brian May, will be released in the UK on June 15.

Lambert meanwhile appeared on Channel 4's Alan Carr: Chatty Man show on Friday (June 5).
