Adam Lambert: 'Poor education leads to ignorance'

Superstar Adam Lambert has revealed that watching Caitlin Jenner go through her transition in front of the world has been incredibly inspiring as it's helping teach the world about acceptance and embracing who you truly are.

Speaking to the Toronto Sun recently, the 'Ghost Town' sensation admitted that he thinks it's great that there's such an open and honest conversation about sexuality and gender happening at the moment, and applauds Caitlyn Jenner for sharing her journey so publicly with the world as it's helping to educate people:

"I think that the ripple effect that it could have on attitudes towards it is very positive. It’s creating a conversation and I think it’s a conversation that needs to be had. I think the first step towards overcoming ignorance is education so I think it’s going to help people really understand what it is. It’s a pretty amazing moment for the trans community."

As previously reported, Lambert also opened up about his plans for presenting his new album, 'The Original High', in a live setting: "I think I’m going to approach it differently than I’ve done in the past – less theatre – more art installation, more cutting edge technology, more clean, minimal visuals."
