Adam Lambert pays tribute to James Corden with special performance

Adam Lambert was on hand to honour James Corden's foray into US TV last night (July 16).

The singer was one of the guests on the Brit's Late Late Show programme.

The episode was his 50th so far as Corden continues to reignite the show.

Lambert took part in a rendition of Queen's 'We Are The Champions' - but its words were changed to pay tribute to the TV host.

The singer referenced some of the guests he's had on the show, while also poking fun at some of Corden's mistakes.

The host was seen wiping away tears during the segment.

Lambert was on the show to promote his new single 'Ghost Town'.
