Adam Lambert on his new sound: 'It's more grounded and introspective'

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert has revealed that his new album, 'The Original High', feels much more 'grounded' than his previous releases.

During a new interview with the ladies of 'The Talk', the 'Ghost Town' sensation admitted that he is incredibly proud of the record and thinks it has a maturity that his other offerings have perhaps lacked:

"It's a bit different to what I've done in the past. I think it's a bit more grounded and a little more introspective. It's not quite as over the top and theatrical as some of my other stuff. It's still me singing my heart out, but there's more nuance and dynamics. The production is very current - very pop. There's something on there for everybody... I'm really proud of it."

Lambert, meanwhile, recently told Radio.com that making his new album accessible was a priority: "I want to be part of a trend, I want to be able to connect with everybody. But one nice thing about this album is that I didn’t compromise the vocal to do that. The voice is still coming from a real place, just the framework around the voice may have changed a bit."
