Adam Lambert set for first-ever UK festival appearance later this month

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert will make his first-ever UK festival appearance later this month with a special live performance at Birmingham's Fusion. 

The 'Ghost Town' sensation will take the stage at Birmingham’s Cofton Park on Sunday, August 30 and other confirmed performers at Fusion Festival include Ed Sheeran, Clean Bandit, Tinie Tempah, and McBusted. 

Canadian heartthrob Justin Bieber had been scheduled to headline the event, but has now pulled out due to "an unforeseen issue". He apologised to UK fans in a post shared via Twitter and 'Thinking Out Loud' singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran stepped in to replace him on the impressive bill. 

Lambert, meanwhile, recently announced the first leg of his Original High tour, which is set to kick off in January and he will perform 5 concerts in Australia. See the full list of dates below: 

  • January 25, 2016 - Melbourne Palais Theatre
  • January 26, 2016 - Melbourne Palais Theatre
  • January 28, 2016 - Adelaide Entertainment Centre
  • January 30, 2016 - Sydney Enmore Theatre
  • January 31, 2016 - Sydney Enmore Theatre
