Adam Lambert amazed by success and popularity of 'Ghost Town'

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert has revealed that he is completely overwhelmed by the amount of streams and views he's had on his single 'Ghost Town', which was his first release from new album 'The Original High'.

The hitmaker took to his official Twitter page much earlier this morning (October 2) and confessed that he was blown away by the statistics: "Wow! 70 MILLION @Spotify streams of #ghostTown!! Nearly 30 MILLION YouTube views of the video!!!! I LOVE MY FANS - u made it a HIT!"

Earlier this week, Lambert's personal interview with Schön magazine was published and he opened up about changing his sound, which he described as being much more authentic:

"As I’ve gotten older and more experienced, you know I’m learning all the time, I’m still learning like everybody and I am more than ever learning that less can be more and that sometimes you need to pull the audience in rather than blasting them out. I didn’t want to do bubblegum, I didn’t want to do campy and theatrical I’ve done it. I felt like I had done crazy and I was ready to get real on the album."
