Adam Lambert Talks About School Years: “I was kind of a loner”

Superstar Adam Lambert has revealed that he was a bit of a loner in middle school and if he could give his younger self some advice, it would be to relax because everything will turn out alright in the end.

Speaking to HuffPost Live, the heartthrob admitted that he spent a lot of time worrying about his lack of social life as a youngster:

"If I could give teen Adam advice, I think I would say 'it's going to be fine... relax. Take a breath. It's going to be fine.' I think when I was in middle school... like sixth, seventh and eighth grade - I didn't have a lot of friends and was kind of a loner - I didn't have much of a social life until I got to high school and there were clubs and people who had shared interests."

The 'Ghost Town' sensation went onto add that while he wasn't bullied directly, he feels as though he avoided a lot of situations out of fear of getting picked on: "Middle school kids... kids are mean at that age. I didn't get bullied, but I think I avoided a lot of social contact because I didn't want to be bullied. Do you know what I mean?"
