Adam Lambert starts work on Rocky Horror Picture Show remake

Adam Lambert has confirmed that work is underway on a TV remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The singer recently signed on to appear as Eddie in a Fox remodelling of the 1975 film.

Writing on Twitter overnight, the US star said that he has started laying down vocals for the production.

Lambert wrote: "Recorded vocals today for the Rocky Horror Remake!!!!! I really love that rock n roll!!"

Other names involved in the two-hour special include Victoria Justice and Disney's Ryan McCartan.

High School Musical's Kenny Ortega is on directing, executive producing and choreographing duties.
