Adam Lambert: 'There’s a lot of scary things going on'

Adam Lambert took time out of his gruelling world tour to talk to The Oakland Press ahead of his concert at The Fillmore Detroit on March 25.

He expressed his worries about the effect modern technology has on people's relationships.

The star said:

“There’s a lot of scary things going on in the world right now. There’s a lot of strange sort of disenchantment that happens with technology and feeling that we’re communicating with each other but are actually disconnected.

"It’s easy right now to end up feeling alone and sort of aimless."

Lambert explains that he hopes his current album, 'The Original High' reflects this.

He said: "I think it actually represents people. I think it represents what people are experiencing right now.

“Now, I’m not a depressed person. I have a good life. I’m very happy, but I think it’s important to write music about real things and things that aren’t so easy to talk about.”
