Adam Lambert feels like 'the luckiest guy in the world' at the moment

Adam Lambert says he feels incredibly lucky to have the chance to work as a solo artist and as the singer of Queen.

The vocalist has fronted the rock group for the last few years, as well as releasing his own albums and touring.

Speaking to Absolute Radio before the band headlined the Isle of Wight festival on Sunday (June 12), Lambert said he is truly satisfied as an artist.

He said: "I feel like the luckiest guy in the world, because I get to do both parts of my career.

"I get my solo career, doing current pop dance music about my life, kind of looking forward, and then I get to moonlight with Queen, one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

"I get to sing some of the greatest music ever written, for fans that are obssessed with this band. Both sides of my artist are very satisfied."
