Adam Lambert and Guy Sebastian sat down for a Facebook Live Q&A this morning for 'The X Factor - Australia' and opened up about their experience on the show so far.

Guy Sebastian confessed that he "hates" the auditions part of the show because it's a long and emotionally draining process, and the "Whataya Want From Me" sensation agreed.

Lambert explained that it's tough to be in the position of having to tell someone who believes they're talented that they don't actually have what it takes:

"The other thing that's hard about auditions is the people who get up there and don't realise they're not very good... it's hard to tell people the truth because you feel... and then when that one person walks on stage that's incredible, it sort of lifts everything up."

Earlier this month, he told Yahoo! Australia that when it comes to the live shows, he wants to "surprise" people: “I want to help these contestants have fun and be innovative and really surprise the audience."
