Adam Lambert on his plans to tour new music

Adam Lambert spoke to the Kyle and Jackie O KIIS Show ahead of his and Queen's tour of Australia in February and March.

The 'Two Fux' singer has been writing music for his own solo project in between touring with Queen and has vouched to return to Australia: 'I'll definitely come back next year when I have my own music to share with everyone.

'I do love it in Australia, any excuse to spend time down under is a treat and I love it.'

When it comes to performing Queen songs, 'Somebody To Love' is one of his current faves, he says: "Even though it's a song about being single, it's the song closest to my current mood."

The vocal powerhouse also revealed the hardest part of touring, he said: "Dating is a bit tricky when you're moving around all the time. I have to say, you can meet somebody great and you're like 'OK, I'm only here for three days, I gotta go, that was a nice first date and good-bye. Let's try and keep in touch' - It's tough."

He did reveal he had used the celebrity and entertainment industry dating app, Raya, but just swiped through and left it: "I've combed through it, I didn't meet anybody on there."

Seaking about some of Queen's songs, he said: "'Fat Bottomed Girls' is a body-positivity anthem, it's a bit ahead of its time."

Queen + Adam Lambert are playing Sydney tonight (February 21) and celebrities in attendance include Boy George who is in the country appearing on  'The Voice'.
