Pia Toscano, who stunned judges with her powerful rendition of 'I'll Stand By You', was voted out after falling into the bottom three and Lambert took to social networking site Twitter to air his opinions:

"Sad to see Pia go. One of the best voices on this season. Makes me think Voters aren't focusing enough on vocal/musical ability."

This comes amid criticism that viewers of the popular talent show are targeting the female contestants and not only Lambert, but the judges were incredibly shocked at Pia's departure.

The voting was rigged for Kris Allen to win. This was done by technology students in Arkansas.

When we were all voting for Adam Lambert, we very often got a busy signal. There would have been many more votes cast for Adam, if we had been able to get through.

So, yes, the voting system is not good.

Pia was a awesome singer but she appeared to be either very shy or couldn't connect with the audience for some reason. I hope she gets a contract anyways. Look forward to seeing her and the others on the tour.

OH SHUT IT ALREADY WITH THE ARKANSAS VOTING CONSPIRACY.  THAT WAS TWO YEARS AGO.  ADAM DIDN'T SUFFER AT ALL FROM LOSING THE TITLE, NOW DID HE?

DO YOU THINK HE WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO ALL THAT HE'S DONE IF HE'D BEEN THE IDOL?  DO YOU THINK THEY WOULD ALLOW HIM TO FRENCH KISS A FELLOW BAND MEMBER ON STAGE WHO IS STRAIGHT?

"When we were all voting for Adam Lambert, we very often got a busy signal."  Maybe that wouldn't have happened if I'd had an AT&T cell phone, but with my T-mobile I got 1 vote in 10 calls in during the 4 hours and 1 in 5 in by land line, until 11:30 pm central.  Very, very, weird and no one can tell me otherwise.  Either there was blocking going on or a technical problem or call bottle neck on a poorly designed phone system, in which case I feel like Adam should have won by a landslide if that were so.  Whether or not the win would have been "right" for him should have been a decision that Adam made for himself, not voters.  And def. not going to 'shut it' for anyone who considers K.A. to be a 'boyfriend' of Adams.  Def. a friend, but not a 'boyfriend' in the physical sense of the word.  You're kidding, right?
