Adam Lambert returns to American Music Awards

Yesterday evening (November 20) marked Adam Lambert's return to the American Music Awards.

Lambert has been busy working on his upcoming album, 'Tresspassing', which will be released in early 2012.

The vocal powerhouse's last appearance at the exciting ceremony was in 2009 when he caused controversy with his much talked about risqué performance, but he took the stage in Los Angeles last night for the first time since his 2-year absence and told the audience:

"Wow! Has it been 2 years already?! Well, time flies. Well it is great to be back on the AMAs stage, thank you guys very much."

The star, who recently announced that his forthcoming single will be called 'Better Than I Know Myself', introduced the great OneRepublic and also acted as one of the ceremony's presenters.
