Adam Lambert addresses arrest, says "lesson learned"

Adam Lambert has taken to social networking site Twitter to address the events of the past 24 hours, which saw him arrested in Finland.

The vocal powerhouse was taken to Pasila Police Station in Helsinki in the early hours of this morning, December 22, after partying at the Don't Tell Mama (DTM) nightclub and spent the rest of the night behind bars.

Writing to his 1.2 million followers on the social networking site just after 4.30pm BST, Lambert summarised the dramatic evening with an entertaining message typed out in the form of an equation:

"Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it. :)"

Along with celebrating his freedom, Lambert has also been toasting the success of his new single 'Better Than I Know Myself' as various tweets on his timeline explain that the track has made a significant impact on the iTunes charts of various countries.
