Adam Lambert on potential UK tour: "I think it will happen"

Adam Lambert has given his UK fans a boost after suggesting that he could tour the country in the future.

The singer released his new album 'Trespassing' in Britain on Monday (July 9) - a number of weeks after its US release.

Lambert is currently in the country promoting the album and also performing with rock legends Queen, but it was unclear whether or not he would return at some point in the future to tour his album.

However, the 'Never Close Our Eyes' man told Capital FM that he thinks a tour will happen. When asked if a UK run was on the horizon, Lambert said:

"I don't know - but I think it will happen. There's no plans for an official tour yet, but it is something that I definitely want to put together. When I was making all the songs on Trespassing, in the back of my head I always thought, 'How is this going to be live?', so I have a lot of ideas and want to make them come to life."

Lambert remained coy on a potential time frame for a UK tour, but he quipped: "Buy lots of CDs and there will be a better chance of it happening sooner."
