The vocal sensation took to social networking site Twitter earlier this evening (August 7) and shared a photograph of himself showcasing platinum-coloured hair and he accompanied the dramatic shot with the caption:

*New 'Do. You ask Why? Why not? ;) change is good. Even more excited to play dress up in Japan now! #chromeashplatinumfantasy"

This bold change came as a shock to his online fanbase, who are used to seeing him with very dark hair, but his new style has been met with a positive response and people have been commenting on the picture and his edgy new look.

His next live performances are scheduled to take place on August 18 at the Marine Stadium in Tokyo, Japan and then on August 19 in Osaka.
