'Never Close Our Eyes' sensation Adam Lambert has expressed his excitement ahead of the weekend's VH1 Divas concert and admitted that he's hoping for "a little drama".

The singer and former American Idol runner up is not only hosting the event, but will be performing at it as well and he told VH1's Big Morning Buzz that because of the other big names involved, such as Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Kelly Clarkson, he's hoping for some great backstage gossip:

"I hope so! And if there is, I'm going to gossip about it! I hope there's a little drama. I like when people get along, but..."

Meanwhile, Lambert recently sat down for an interview with Wendy Williams and talked about the future, and, in particular, marriage: "The way I look at it is everybody should have the right to get married, if they so choose. Right now, I’m not really thinking about marriage."

"When I grew up, I didn’t ever think marriage was even something that would be part of my reality. Now that, that’s something new and that’s becoming totally accepted, it’s a different world."

VH1 Divas is set to air live on VH1 this Sunday (December 16) at 9pm ET/8pm CT.
