Adam Lambert debuts new song 'written exclusively for' the Life Ball

'Whataya Want From Me' hitmaker Adam Lambert performed an exclusive live set at the Life Ball in Austria on Saturday night (May 25) and belted out a song written especially for the event.

The ball, which is Europe's biggest fundraiser for HIV and AIDS, was held over the weekend in Vienna and had an Arabian '1001 Nights' theme, which the superstar took on board with his stunning costume of a bedazzled headpiece and dramatic sparkling robe.

Writing on his official Twitter page, Lambert revealed his excitement at being there: "Thrilled to be a part of Life Ball! The theme is 1001 Nights and I am playing "Ali Baba" singing a song written exclusively for the event!"

The sang a cut called 'Love Wins Over Glamour', which is an uptempo offering with a dance influence and a great breakdown. Some of the lyrics include: "I seem to be so f**king lucky lately, I've found the key to endless treasure/ My heart is pumping and I like what I see, you give me joy you give me pleasure."

Yahoo! explains that the song was written by the Beat4Feet Music production team, which consists of Martin Gellner and Werner Stranka, with lyrics by Martin, Werner, and Adam.
