Adam Lambert performs with Nile Rodgers

Adam Lambert has rekindled his working relationship with Nile Rodgers by performing with him live.

The two acts, who worked together on Lambert's 2012 record 'Trespassing', teamed up live once more at a benefit show curated by the Chic guitarist in New York on Monday (August 19).

They performed a batch of songs such as 'Whataya Want From Me', 'Shady' and David Bowie's 'Let's Dance' to an enthusiastic crowd.

Avicii, who recently worked with 'Get Lucky' man Rodgers and Lambert on forthcoming song 'Lay Me Down', also played a set at the event, which was raising funds for All For The East End.

The Swedish DJ, real name Tim Bergling, tweeted after the show:

"So happy to be a part of such a great cause! Thanks @nilerodgers for havin me, and great to finally meet @adamlambert."

Rodgers then replied: "I love you dudes like brothers - Thanks Tim."
