Adam Lambert was tasked with singing some personal adverts from Craigslist whilst appearing on the Ellen Show.

The singer appeared on the US chat show recently to promote his role on Glee, which sees the vocal powerhouse play the part of the effervescent Starchild.

Host Ellen DeGeneres noted that the 'Trespassing' man has a huge voice and can make anything sound good - so she asked him to sing some love ads from classifieds website Craigslist.

Some of the text Lambert sang included "Man seeks busty woman, hot tub and pool" and "I wanna tie you up - it will set you free".

After the taping, the star said on Twitter: "Looking fwd to doing interviews with @ETCanada and @Daybreak this week #2daystillGlee."

The singer's first episode of Glee meanwhile is due to air in the US on Thursday (November 7).

Lambert performs Lady Gaga's 'Marry The Night' during the programme, which is entitled A Katy Or A Gaga.
