Adam Lambert has treated fans with a picture from an upcoming photoshoot.

The vocal powerhouse took to Instagram and Twitter to post the image, which was shot by snapper Lee Cherry.

The black and white photo sees the singer looking reflective as he gazes to his right.

He accompanied the image with the text: "From forthcoming Lee Cherry Shoot."

Lambert meanwhile is currently riding on a wave of success after earning rave reviews for his debut in TV series Glee.

The singer made his first appearance in the programme on Thursday (November 7) in an episode called A Katy or a Gaga.

A number of tracks were performed in the show, including Lady Gaga's 'Marry The Night' and Katy Perry's hit song 'Roar'.

Colleague Darren Criss meanwhile tweeted after the airing:
