Glee's music producer has reached out to Adam Lambert after being taken aback by his talent.

The vocal powerhouse has joined the cast of the US TV show for its fifth series and he has made two appearances so far.

Producer Alex Anders has been working on an upcoming episode and he tweeted Lambert directly to praise the 'Trespassing' star in the most glowing of terms.

He said: "@adamlambert Working on one of your songs right now, and I just have to say that you are ridiculous. So good! Privilege to work with you."

Lambert modestly replied: "Thanks man!!!!"

The singer's first appearance on Glee came in the shape of the episode A Katy or A Gaga, whilst he also featured in the recent Puppet Master.

He has been playing the role of Elliott 'Starchild' Gilbert.
