Adam Lambert has admitted that he is unsure how long his Glee career will last.

The vocal powerhouse has featured in two episodes of the cult US show this year to play the role of Elliott 'Starchild' Gilbert.

Co-star Lea Michele recently confirmed that she has been working on a new duet with Lambert recently, but the 'Trespassing' star has conceded that he doesn't know how many more episodes he will feature in.

He told E!: "I'm having a good time popping in here and there because I have a lot of other stuff in the mix right now."

However, he said the number of future appearances he will make is "all up in the air".

It's all given Lambert a taste for acting, however, with the singer open to undertaking more cameos. He said:

"If there's anybody out there who thinks they like what they see then maybe I'll get another gig."
