Adam Lambert has treated fans by sharing a video for a recent performance of the Avicii track 'Lay Me Down'.

The vocal powerhouse previously teamed up with the Swedish hitmaker and guitarist Nile Rodgers for the song, which features on Avicii's debut 2013 record 'True'.

Lambert performed the song live as a band for the first time in Biloxi on December 29 and he has now shared a link to a video of the track.

He tweeted: "Debuted a live version last night of my @Avicii and @nilerodgers collaboration: Lay Me Down."

The 'Trespassing' man meanwhile is due to have a busy 2014. He will "in theory" release his next record and more work with Queen has been mooted.

However, this means that the singer's role in Glee is expected to be as a guest only.
