Adele has confirmed a series of North America tour dates.

The singer will promote her new album '25' in the continent over 56 dates in 2016.

The run - her first in the region since 2011 - will take place between July 5 and November 15.

There will be six dates at New York City's Madison Square Garden in September.

Among the dates are shows in the likes of Boston, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Mexico City.

Tickets will go on sale from Thursday (December 17).

Adele has already confirmed a number of UK and Europe shows for next year.
