Adele's '25' has now become the biggest selling record in the US of the last four years.

Ironically, it is now the top seller since Adele's previous effort '21' was released in 2011.

Billboard have confirmed that '25' sold 825,000 units in its latest sales week to top the US chart for a fourth week in a row.

This means that it has shifted 5.98 million copies in its first month.

It has already usurped sales of Taylor Swift's '1989' - 5.57 million - to become the biggest selling album in the States since 2011.

Adele's second album '21', however, has sold 11.37 million copies so far.
