Adele's '25' has returned to No.1 on the US albums chart

Adele is back on top of the US albums chart.

The singer topped the Billboard 200 with her third record '25' when it was released on November 20.

She was only dislodged when the late David Bowie released his last album 'Blackstar' in early January.

Billboard has confirmed that '25' is back on the top of the pile after two weeks away.

It shifted 116,000 equivalent units over the last week.

It's another mark of the success of Adele's '25', with her lead track 'Hello' recently becoming the quickest video in history to reach one billion views on YouTube.

Justin Bieber's 'Purpose' rises one place to No.2, while metallers Megadeth have achieved their best debut with 'Dystopia', which lands at No.3.

Twenty One Pilots’ 'Blurryface' follows at No.4, with previous chart-topper 'Death Of A Bachelor' by Panic at the Disco rounding off the top five.
