Adele apologises after fan is injured at her Glasgow show

Adele took to Twitter last night (March 25) to apologise to fans, after a member in the audience was injured during her Glasgow show.

The fan was hospitalised when a chain from the stage crew fell on them whilst she was performing at the SSE Hydro.

Following the show, Adele tweeted: "I'm so sorry to hear that someone got hurt at my show tonight."

An SSE Hydro spokesperson said: "We are liaising with the production crew to ascertain what happened. This is all we know at this stage."

Adele is set to take her show next to Birmingham and then back to London next week.

The British superstar also gave her support this week to Belgium in the wake of Tuesday's (March 22) terror attacks, when she dedicated her performance of 'To Make You Feel My Love' to Brussels, at the O2 Arena.

The superstar said: "We’re all here for the same reason. I’m hoping you’ve all come to be entertained by me. I’m here to entertain you, so we’re all united, so that makes us much better than them f*****s. You’re on your own you f*****g loners."

With tears streaming down her face, she added: "This is 'Make You Feel My Love' and this is for Brussels."

Adele is scheduled to appear in Belgium for three headlining shows at Antwerp's Sportpaleis in June.
