Adele scores first ever BAFTA nomination for documentary

Adele has bagged her first ever British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) nomination for the BBC documentary about her latest album, '25'.

The BAFTA nominations were announced this morning (March 30).

The programme, Adele at the BBC, was aired on November 15 and was hosted by Graham Norton.

The programme is nominated in the Entertainment category, alongside the anniversary special of chat show TGI Friday, Britain's Got Talent and Strictly Come Dancing.

In the show, Adele sang songs from both her albums and was interviewed by Norton.

The special also included a comedy sketch in which Adele fooled fans by pretending to be an Adele impersonator called 'Jenny', with the help of a fake chin and nose. She took part in an audition with other Adele tribute acts before revealing her true self.

Adele has already won a Golden Globe and Academy Award in 2013 for the James Bond theme, Skyfall.
