Adele will never do another Bond theme: 'I don't want to jinx it'

Superstar Adele has revealed that she would never record another theme for a James Bond movie because the one and only theme she was involved in seemed to be handed to her by an act of fate.

The 'Hello' sensation told British newspaper The Sun that she was 23 years old when she was approached to work on the theme for the 23rd Bond film, namely 'Skyfall', and it was such a great coincidence that she felt as though she was destined to do it.

Adele explained to the newspaper: "I would never do it again because I would never want to jinx it. After '21' I was like, why did I want to ruin things? Then I heard it was Bond 23 and I was 23, and it felt a little like fate."

She also spoke about winning an Oscar and joked that it makes for a great conversation piece: "Having an Oscar is amazing. The statue is really heavy and now when anyone comes round my house the first thing they say is not, 'How are you?' It's always, 'Can I see your Oscar?'"
