Adele thinks Sarah Palin helped her U.S success

British singer/songwriter Adele has said that she holds U.S politician Sarah Palin responsible for her success in America.

Both Adele and Palin appeared on the same episode of Saturday Night Live, and the 'Chasing Pavements' vocalist told Attitude Magazine:

"Sarah Palin made my career by coming on that show"

"I saw the back of Sarah Palin, and I thought it was [SNL comedian] Tina Fey, and I f**king love Tina Fey, and I was, 'Tina, Tina'. She didn't even acknowledge me, she was just completely oblivious."

"Then Sarah Palin asked to come and meet me, and my gays were in the room, saying, 'If she comes in, I'm leaving'. She cornered me and said hello. And I had a massive Obama badge on my t*t."

Adele also laughed off the comments and added that musicians probably shouldn't comment on politics. Her forthcoming single, 'Rolling In The Deep', will be released on January 17 and you can check out the studio footage of it here:
