Adele covered 'Lovesong' by The Cure to ease home sickness

Grammy award winning singer-songwriter Adele has revealed that she recorded one track on her new album, '21', in an attempt to cure her of feeling homesick.

The young star spent time recording the album in Malibu and admitted that she missed home so laid down a track close to her heart that made it onto the final cut. On the commentary for '21', she said of her cover of The Cure's 'Lovesong':

"My first concert ever was The Cure at Finchley Park, my mum took me, it's such a touching song and it's all one take and it's very raw and I'm really sad in it 'cause I'm missing home."

"That song sort of set me free a little bit."

"It's a really stunning recording, it really is Rick Rubin (producer) that song."
