Adele tops Music Power 100 listBritish singer-songwriter Adele has topped The Guardian's Music Power 100 list. The well-respected newspaper has unveiled its rundown of "the most influential people creating, promoting, managing and making money from music" and the 'Someone Like You' hitmaker is sitting pretty at No.1 following an incredibly successful year so far. At only 23 years old, Adele has spent a phenomenal 15 weeks at the top of the UK albums chart with '21', shifting more that 6 million copies for independent record label XL and the label's founder, Richard Russell, said of her: "The whole message with her is, it's just music. There's no gimmicks, there's no selling of sexuality," Music industry experts worked together to determine the top ten, which is as follows:
