Adele has received yet another end of year accolade after it was revealed that one of her tracks was the most played song on Spotify in the UK in 2011, reports BBC Newsbeat.

'Rolling In The Deep' came out trumps in the list compiled by the music streaming service, beating off competition from Bruno Mars' 'Grenade' and Rihanna's 'S&M', who landed at No.2 and No.3 respectively.

Rihanna however was the most dominant force in the top ten, enjoying two other entries - 'What's My Name' and 'Only Girl In The World'.

Elsewhere in the list, Jessie J's 'Price Tag' and 'Do It Like A Dude' landed at No.4 and No.5.

As previously reported, Adele was recently greeted with the news that she has enjoyed the highest yearly sales figures since 2004.
