Someone Like You co-writer reveals Adele’s started work on next album

The man responsible for co-writing Adele’s No.1 hit single, ‘Someone Like You,’ has revealed that the pair have already started working on her next album.

Dan Wilson, also the front-man of US alt-rock trio Semisonic, told the Daily Star that despite the recent news of the 24-year-old’s pregnancy, the two have been in regular contact about the follow-up to the multi-million selling '21.'

“We’ve exchanged a couple of emails about the next album.

“I am concentrating on writing as many songs as I can for her. I am building some tracks.”

However, the 51-year-old, who has also written songs for the likes of Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban, said it’s unlikely that fans will get to experience Adele as a live performer for quite some time:

“She doesn’t need to tour. You don’t have to when you’re that successful.”
