Adele debuts 'Skyfall' theme song

After confirming that she had recorded the official theme song for the new Bond movie, Adele's 'Skyfall' has now premiered on the radio.

The songstress co-wrote the track with long-time collaborator Paul Epworth, who recently praised her vocals as "jaw-dropping" during an interview with the BBC:

"I'm quite pleased. But I can't wait for people to hear the rest of it. Particularly, Adele's performance is really jaw-dropping. The initial chords happened quite quickly. We spent a few months shaping it, tweaking it."

Her contribution to the new Bond movie of the same name will have its official unveiling at 0:07 (UK time) on Friday, October 5.

Speaking about the cut recently, Adele admitted that it was an incredible opportunity albeit a stressful and high-pressure one: "I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song for 'Skyfall'. There's a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song. But I fell in love with the script and Paul had some great ideas for the track and it ended up being a bit of a no-brainer to do it in the end."
