Adele "can't wait" for new tour

Adele has revealed her excitement at returning to touring.

The singing star hasn't toured for some time due to vocal cord problems and the birth of her first child in 2012.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the '21' lady confirmed that she plans to return to the live circuit once she releases her next record. When asked if she would be touring again, Adele said:

"Absolutely, absolutely. I was meant to be doing it but then my throat issue happened, so I couldn't do it and then I got knocked up so then I couldn't do it."

She continued: "I'm not sure when but when a new record comes - when I write a new record - then absolutely, yeah I can't wait."

Adele has been over in America recently to collect a Golden Globe Original Song award for her 'Skyfall' theme.

She is also nominated for the same award at this year's Oscars, which are due to take place on February 24.
