Adele: 'My new songs will come when I have something to sing about'

Oscar award-winning songstress Adele has admitted that her new album won't be something she forces to keep her fans and label happy, and instead she wants to wait for inspiration to come to her.

When told by Britain's Daily Star newspaper that people are desperate for new music, she joked: "Tell me about it, so am I. They'll come when they're ready, and when I've got something to sing about."

2013 has already been an incredible year for the hitmaker as so far she has won an Oscar, a Golden Globe and BRIT award, and it's only March 1.

In addition to her trio of award wins, Adele also was honoured after her last album, '21', was named the best-selling record in the world last year for shifting 8.3 million units globally.
